Zhangye UNESCO Global Geopark Officially Released the Study Tour Route

On July 23rd, the Study Tour Route Release Conference was held in Lanzhou.

At the conference, Zhangye UNESCO Global Geopark published the study tour officially. At present, the trend of study tours continues to heat up. To respond to this trend, Zhangye UNESCO Global Geopark made full use of its magical landscape, rare natural relics, brilliant cultural treasures, diverse biological ecology, and perfect reception service facilities, developed a special study tour brand and a "1+3" study tour product system. The brand and the system have fully leveraged the geopark’s advantages of geological science popularization, cultural immersion, navigation experience, red education, modern agriculture, and outdoor expansion.

The "1+3" study tour product system includes one composite route and three specialized routes, tailored for different groups such as primary and secondary school students, general tourists, professional associations, outdoor sports enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, university teachers and students, and researchers, to meet the personalized needs of various audiences.

The release of the "1+3" study tour route of Zhangye UNESCO Global Geopark not only enriches the local tourism product but also enables more people to have the opportunity to deeply experience the geological charm and cultural heritage of Zhangye and embark on a study exploration journey that combines knowledge and fun.

According to the press conference, the 5th Hot Air Balloon Carnival of Zhangye Colorful Danxia is scheduled to be held from July 29 to July 31, 2025, at the Zhangye Colorful Hills. At that time, 40 hot air balloons will perform a concentrated flight show for 3 days and a total of 6 sessions.
